How to join the Extreme Team.
Step 1: Visit a Meeting
Your journey starts with a visit. Come to one of our Thursday morning meetings as a guest — no commitment, no pressure. You'll experience the energy, see how referrals are exchanged, and meet the members firsthand.
Key Details
- Arrive around 9:15 AM for open networking before the meeting starts at 9:30 AM
- You'll have a chance to introduce yourself and your business
- There's no pressure — just come ready to learn and connect
- Visitors are welcome up to 2 times before deciding to apply
Step 2: Submit Your Application
If you feel the chapter is a good fit, the next step is filling out a membership application. This includes basic information about you, your business, and the industry category you'd like to represent.
Key Details
- Each industry seat is exclusive — only one member per profession
- Your sponsor (usually the member who invited you) will help guide you through the process
- A one-time application fee and annual membership dues apply
- BNI membership includes access to BNI's global referral platform, BNI Connect
Step 3: Membership Committee Interview
Once your application is submitted, you'll be interviewed by our chapter's Membership Committee. This is a friendly, informal conversation — not an interrogation. The committee wants to learn more about your business and make sure the fit is right for both sides.

- The committee reviews your business credibility and commitment level
- They'll ask about your goals and how you plan to contribute to the chapter
- Interviews typically last 15–20 minutes
- The committee meets regularly, so the process moves quickly
Step 4: Membership Committee Decision
After your interview, the Membership Committee reviews your application and gets back to you with a decision — typically within a few days. If there are multiple candidates being considered for the same seat, they'll work through the process as quickly as possible and keep everyone informed along the way.

- The Membership Committee makes the final call on membership approvals
- Most decisions come back within a few days of your interview
- If multiple people are being considered for the same seat, the committee will get back to each person as soon as possible
- If you're not approved, you'll receive feedback and may be welcome to re-apply in the future
What Happens Next?
After the committee makes their decision.
Approved
Welcome to the Extreme Team.
You'll be officially inducted, receive your member materials, and start receiving referrals from day one. Your sponsor and the membership committee will help you get up to speed.
Not Approved
It's rare, but it happens.
If the committee decides it's not the right fit at this time, you'll receive constructive feedback. Many applicants re-apply successfully after addressing the committee's concerns.
